The trading method you’ll discover on October 8th at 7pm EST comes from vast and varied experience in the real world.

In other words, it’s been proven to work – again and again.

Now before I lay out the specifics, I want to show you one more reason CheckPoint Trading is such a superior strategy.

The Immense Importance of Risk Management

…which is at the very heart of CheckPoint Trading.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ve heard me talk about the three components of successful investing.

  1. Risk Management
  2. Asset Allocation
  3. Market Timing

Well, risk management is BY FAR the most important of the three… even though it’s the least sexy.

People love to dream of “calling tops” perfectly, selling their stocks right before the market falls off a cliff.

Or vice versa, calling the bottom at the exact moment the market heads higher.

It’s like a Hollywood movie script.

I have my own share of miraculous-seeming market calls… but I won’t talk about them here.

That’s because I don’t want to distract you from what’s most important:

Keeping the money in your account from leaking out of your account.

Bad risk management can take you out of the game faster than a torn ACL.

On the other hand…

You can go for conservative gains… be wrong half the time… and STILL get rich…

As long as you structure your trades to minimize risk and stick to the system.

For example, let’s say you start out with a thousand bucks.

On your first trade you make 25%. Pretty good, right? But you’re not swinging for the fences.

Then you lose 5% on a trade that goes south.

You come out the other side with $1,187.50. You’re still up more than 18%.

Let’s say the same pattern happens a few more times.

You’re up to $1,410.15 the second time. $1,674.56 the third.

On the fourth set of trades, you’re at $1,988.54.

By the fifth go ‘round, you’ve more than doubled your money, hitting $2,361.39….

Even though you’re taking a loss half the time

That’s just a glimpse of the power of risk management.

Of course, there’s much more to risk management than that. We’ll dive into that in the coming days.

In fact, stop back on Tuesday October 8th, at 7pm EST when I’ll show you how you can practice true “risk reduction.”

See you soon!
